Repeating same action with the wait time condition

Hi!  

If i create a a time condition & repeat the action for the file I want completed under the ‘no’ until I end the automation will that time condition go from the previous step or from the original condition.

My goal for my first automation is to get the client to select a package.   So i have a condition based on time passed that will repeat until my sales process is done.  My question is every time i set the condition to be file completed within ‘x’ amount of days will that wait time go based off of the time the file was sent to the client or is that time based off the previous step?
