Replaces some workspaces

This is amazing! So it sounds like this could replace my multiple workspaces? So I work with students and parents, so I’ve had one workspace for parent communication, one for students, and one for parents + students, just to make sure communication went to the right people.

But now it sounds like I can have just one workspace and add/delete people to the convo as needed.

Hooray!!

Hi! Avia from the product team here 👋🏼

You can definitely use this new ability to replace multiple workspaces :) Glad to hear you like it!

@AviaE Is there any content created (blog post, article, video) that might explain the difference between using selected participants versus related workspaces? For example, is a related workspace more “confidential”?  No big deal if there is not something that explains the differences more in depth; I’m more just curious about when it might be better to use one over the other...but I think this type of education would be helpful for users to know as this rolls out!

Hi @Julia Spears, this is a great idea for when we start releasing it to all users. At the moment, we are still working on preparing all the necessary educational materials for the release.

@AviaE I figured that was probably the case. All good! Keep up the good work. :)

I can see the related workspaces being great for communications with internal team members (who don’t need to see Files / payments / etc) and /or outside vendors related to the project… I’ll add a question I have about this to a new thread !
