Scheduling Issues - Moving Projects between Team Members

Why, when reassigning a project, does Honeybook not take all the associated meetings with it??

I am the owner and primary photographer of the company. I typically work directly with our clients and assign other employees to projects based on need and fit.

Currently, I need to reassign a project and connected meeting to another team member. The meeting is the scheduled shoot date and time. When I use the Projects/Pipeline page to “Reassign” the project, the project is disconnected from the meeting. The scheduled meeting stays on my calendar and ownership is not transferred.

I need a way to move the meeting from my calendar to his so it removes the block on my calendar and closes availability on his.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Any update on this. I have a difficult time assigning meetings to different teammembers after we schedule them. I have to make additional meetings on their calendar and can’t delete the original since I want the client to still be able to make changes if needed.

Hi @Teela Shandess!

I don’t think that’s currently possible to do automatically, however, I can see that being an important part of your process! Could you please submit this idea in the Feature Requests section? Our product team pays close attention to that space 🙌

Thank you for this insight Masha. I will add this to the Feature Requests section.

I added this request to the features request page. It looks like it’s still in “Open” status. It seems that it only has one upvote (my own).

Take a look and upvote it, maybe it’ll start to get some traction.
