I would love to start a thread for social media managers, marketing strategists, etc to share ideas for how we are using automations and other tools within Honeybook to streamline business.

I love this! I just started my business this year and I am trying to use honey book to streamline my onboarding process, if you have any insights I would love it!

So far I’m using Honeybook to make my Proposal process and easy one step for prospects to select services after our initial call, sign the contract, and pay their first invoice. It also sets up recurring monthly invoices for them. I have a few automations set up from my lead form based on their responses. I also use smart files for content approval.

Oh my goodness yes, I am setting up now. I want to use the Simple Proofs templates to send clients proofs but I don’t see how I can add Reels without uploading them to something like YouTube first. Any advice. Also do you all have your pipeline extend out to include every service month-January-December or just Onboarding? Any suggestions is appreciated.

I use the simple proofs template for content approval as well and I have to upload videos to Google drive and then put the link in each. I have a folder in my google drive for each client, so it works out fairly easily.

My pipeline is set up with:

Inquiry

Follow Up

Meeting

Proposal Sent

Proposal Signed

Retainer Paid

Planning

Ongoing

Completed

I leave clients in Ongoing once they have been onboarded and I’m actively working with them. So they stay there whether we work together for a few months or years.

I was really hoping to “dig into the brains” of those that use Honeybook for the same services for feedback. Does anyone have their services set up in Honeybook where all clients are all due for their invoice on the same specific day every month or no?

I’m new to Honeybook and feeling very frustrated. Those of you who do Social Media management, do you create a new project each month or how do you do it?

No, I use one project and it just stays as ongoing in my pipeline. I use recurring invoices so they’re billed monthly within that project.

I don’t. I prefer to have my invoices staggered because I want each client to have a different start day for the month. I don’t want all of my content due on the same day for all of my clients.
