Time Zone Trouble

4 The Memories

Our business is on the border of two time zones, so we have events on both EST and CST time.  I have my business profile set to CST however I am having trouble with the time showing correctly in my contracts.  For instance, a client emailed that they wanted our photo booth from 830-930 and the contract is flipping that to 530-630.  So I find myself often asking for clarification on time of events.  I also cannot find a way to add time zone to my contract template.  Any help appreciated :)

Hey there!

Monica here from the HoneyBook Community Team!

Contracts will pull in the date and time based on what is listed in the Project Details. If your projects are set to CST, they are not accounting for Daylight Saving Time (the time change that happened in March). Currently, only the states of Hawaii and Arizona do not do a time change. If you don’t live in those states, make sure your projects are set to CST/CDT so that the time of each project is true to the current time.

If you’re still having issues with your time zones, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Support team at Concierge@HoneyBook.com

I’ll let other members chime in for how they best work with clients in differing time zones :)

Happy Thursday!
