Tip payout privacy issues in Honeybook that do not comply to laws

I have an issue in that Honeybook does not comply to privacy laws by disclosing the tip payout for a project on the payments tab. This allows anyone who is on the project to view the compensation ( tips) of another employee which is illegal in most states.

I addressed this with a help supervisor and was told that the platform is working as intended and that it is my responsibility to make sure that I am complying to the law. Their solution - only have one person on the project. This is not a solution.

Does anyone else have any other solutions? Has anyone else been called on the carpet for this? Honeybook seems to not care that its platform can not be made to be compliant to law.

Hi @Teresa,

I’m sorry about this issue - do you mind submitting this functionality in the feature requests section, please? Sharing the legal context and implications for members in different states. Our product team monitors that space all that time, so it’s the best place to reach them.
