WHY?! Auto-populating Project Location is GONE. *THUMBS DOWN*

WHY?! Who makes these decisions?
Now we have to go to Google, copy an address and put it in. This is such a basic product feature. B A S I C 
We have other softwares that are much smaller companies and they can achieve this feature. 

Do I need to list the benefits of having this? IT WORKED PERFECTLY.

What is happening at Honeybook???

Please make this a feature request! I’ve had the same frustration...tired of copy and pasting addresses since that feature was removed.

HONESTLY THOUGH!! I’m wondering the same thing!! It’s been working great like that for years! I find some features are coming and going and changing… and while I’ll scratch my head from time to time, this one makes ZERO sense!

 

It’s not a new feature we are asking for - it’s the OLD feature we need back! Hopefully an engineer sees this and can help...

I mean - it shouldn’t be a feature request… it’s not new LOL! We just the old one back!

OK .. im not the only one … I have been deleting / re installing apps etc.  

 

Part of the reason why I use honeybook is because of the ‘user friendliness’ of the program.  This feature removal is really UNFRIENDLY and requires extra steps that I personally deem senseless.  

 

  • REMOVAL OF AUTOP POPULATED ADDRESS’
  • START TIME / END TIME  NO LONGER TRANSFER TO ALL FIELDS (IN DETAILS) 

and there are probably more that im not listing…  

 

WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY ?  If it ‘aint broke’ .. please dont try to ‘FIX’

It was already a GREAT feature. LOL. My question is what is going on at the decision making level and do we need to be concerned about the longevity of the products future plans. It feels like the event field is getting pushed out to me

Lets just hope they add it back .. or give REASONING as to why it was removed … 

 

I understand change .. but that one made 0 sense to me……. along with the fact that there are more CRM’s that I wasn’t even giving a look at …….. until ……….(get it)

I want to say thank you on behalf of the Product team for the candid feedback on the changes made to functionality that supports auto-populating location. They have heard your frustration and are working on a fix to re-instate this functionality. We will update this thread in the next few days when the testing process is complete to ensure it works as expected (we don’t want bugs!). You’ll see this update either from me or from @Monica

Hi everyone,

We heard you and we're so sorry for the disruption we caused by removing the address auto-complete functionality without notice.
Here's what happened: we are transitioning to a new provider and realized that removing this functionality during the transition interfered with your work considerably.

Here's what we're doing about it: auto-complete has been restored to all account while we complete the transition to our new service provider. That means many of you will have the old experience (noted by Google on the search results) and some of you may already have the new service provider.




We encourage you to share feedback to make sure everything is working as expected.

TLDR: We re-installed the original auto-complete while we roll out our new service provider to all members. We will make sure it is stable and working properly while we expand the transition.

Your feedback means the world to us, even and especially when we don't get it right.

I, however, am only experiencing a partial fix.

I film at many of the same venues in my area but when I begin to add them, the suggested addresses are not even close to my location or even in the same state when they used to be.

 

Anything I need to do on my end??
