WP Forms to Honeybook integration

Hello!

I was attempting to use Zapier to send leads submitted on my website (via WP Forms) to Honeybook, but the records are not pushing to the platform at all. Connections are all set in zapier, and records are being retrieved in whole from the website, but none of the data makes it over to HB as a project.

Is this not a possibility, or could I be doing something wrong?

Any help is appreciated!

I don’t have the answer, but I have this same question! I would love to pull leads out of email and into a new Client Project. From what I’ve tried to do with Formatter by Zapier, this seems really hard. It’s too bad because all the info is in the email but for whatever reason, Zapier does not have any easy way to scrape the couple name, email, and phone into text field records, and then push it to the New Project step in Zapier.

@Kurtd and @Venue Manager  - This is such a great question—and you're definitely not alone in wanting to automate your lead capture workflow more smoothly!

✅ Option 1: Use a HoneyBook Lead Form on your website

Rather than relying on a Zapier connection (which can get tricky, especially when formatting and parsing email content), the most seamless way to send leads directly into HoneyBook as new projects is by embedding a HoneyBook Lead Form on your website.

Once submitted, the lead will automatically create a new project in HoneyBook and can even trigger automations like sending a brochure or scheduling link. You can customize the form to collect names, emails, phone numbers, and more—no extra tools or setup needed!

Here’s a quick guide to setting it up:

🧩 Option 2: Use the HoneyBook Chrome Gmail Extension

For the second question—if you're receiving lead info via email and it’s not coming through a form, you can use HoneyBook’s Chrome Gmail Extension. It allows you to quickly create a new project in HoneyBook directly from a lead email in your Gmail inbox—no formatting or copying/pasting needed.

You can grab that here:

Both options help get those leads out of your inbox and into your client flow with less friction! 💛
