Wrong Stage in Google Calendar Sync

Question

I’m sure I’m missing something, but surely Honeybook is not going to leave incorrect stages synced to Google Calendar. This effectively renders the entire sync useless because the information is wrong.

If a project is created in Honeybook that starts in the Inquiry stage, “Inquiry” will show up in the title of the event in Google Calendar. I’d rather it not, but I see others prefer that. It’s fine to leave it, but it cannot be a solution to not be able to change it, right?

How are you supposed to use the calendar if every project, regardless of where it is in your process, is labeled “Inquiry”?

Can someone help me if I’m overlooking something? I really want to use Honeybook calendar but just can’t if every project will be titled with Inquiry in Google Calendar.

Hey @Chatham Station!

Once a first payment is made or contract signed, the project will move from Inquiry to Booked. Once a project is booked, your google calendar will update to remove the Inquiry portion of the calendar event :)
