Here is what I am trying to do. I am wanting to add a team member who is a contractor of mine. I would add them just a collaborator, but they do not get the same permissions I want them to have. I want the contractor of mine to be able to go in an list their availability in the scheduler so the client can book based on the contractor’s availability. This would eliminate the back and forth. However, it is seems that the contractor would need to make a whole Honeybook Account and have a paid membership just to join my team.

So my question is, is there a way to go about this without the contractor having to pay for a membership? I mean I already pay roughly $50 a month for Honeybook I do not see why they would need to pay too just to be a team member. Or is there a better way to go about what I am trying to accomplish?

Yes. Your team members don’t pay. You add them in company settings → team

So… if you add them as a collaborator, it’s a separate function. They have their own business and they can send their own scheduler and invoices and everything would count as THEIR business when they interact with your client.

You CAN add them as a TEAM MEMBER and not a collaborator if you want to. But they would have access to your brand templates and account (based on the permissions you give them). But you can do that.

But these are 2 separate functions

So, is there a way to have them as team member without them having to create an account that they must pay for? I just need the most streamline way of scheduling the availability of my client and contractor without the back and forth of me getting my clients availability and then the contractor's availability and then linking them up. The contractor will essentially be doing the session for me when I cannot. I want a simple experience though for my client. Where they can just simply book the time that works best with the scheduler tool.

Okay, I’ll have to touch base with them then because they informed me that they were prompted to start a trial subscription

Yes because they were added as a collaborator. Remove them as that.

then add them as a team member
