Contractor Onboarding Link

​@Scott Paulk  -  Great question! As of now, there isn’t a dedicated contractor onboarding link built into HoneyBook specifically for collecting W9s or onboarding contractors. You're not missing anything—most of us are still handling this part manually too.

That said, a great workaround is to create a custom Smart File with an embedded questionnaire and file upload field, allowing your contractors to fill out their info and upload their W9s directly. You can then send that as a reusable onboarding link anytime you bring on a new contractor.

It’s not a built-in contractor onboarding feature (yet!), but it can definitely help streamline the process.

I’d also recommend submitting a feature request or upvoting if you see one in the Feedback Section of the community, his kind of functionality would be a fantastic addition, and the HoneyBook team does pay close attention to community needs.

is this gonna get added into the contractor or 1099 update for honey book that's getting added? also I signed up to be a beta tester for two HB companies and didn't hear anything back.
