Disappointed by Recent Price Hikes – A Tough Blow for Small Businesses

As a small business owner, I’ve always relied HoneyBook to help streamline our processes, manage customer relationships, and drive growth. Initially, it was an invaluable tool that helped us scale efficiently without breaking the bank. However, recent price hikes have made it increasingly difficult to justify continuing with this platform.

While I understand that pricing adjustments are sometimes necessary for a business to remain competitive, the recent increase feels disproportionate for small businesses like ours. It’s a real struggle to absorb the extra costs when margins are already tight, and every dollar counts. For many small businesses, this could force them to either downgrade their service or explore more affordable alternatives, which ultimately disrupts workflow and can lead to lost time and productivity.

What’s particularly frustrating is that these price hikes seem to be happening without a clear communication of the value being added in return. Small businesses are already juggling so many challenges – from rising costs to economic uncertainty – and these unexpected increases only add to the pressure.

I urge you to consider the impact on small business owners when making these kinds of decisions. While larger enterprises may have the budget flexibility to absorb price changes, smaller companies often operate on razor-thin margins. Maintaining transparent communication and offering tiered pricing options that reflect the realities of small business budgets could help mitigate the strain.

Warm Regards,

Kala
