I am considering bringing in a VA so that I don’t have to spend all my time putting together contracts, dealing with leads, etc… is there a way to have someone using my HoneyBook WITHOUT seeing everything? Like i don’t mind them seeing the cost (because they are doing the contracts.. but i don’t want them seeing my banking info or any personal stuff. I just want them have access to contracts and the pipeline

Hi! I am an Ops Agency and have VAs on my team. I also am a Honeybook Educator and set up HB for people. Here's my experience:

1. Yes you can add someone to your account to help manage the back end. There's no limit to the # of team members you can add.

2. Each team member cannot already have a HB account (or they must use a different email than the one they use for their own HB). Essentially each email can only be connected to 1 account at a time. When we do setups, we tell the client to change their password to something generic while we complete setup, then change it back when we're done.

3. There are no detailed permissions for team members. The way I've worked around this is created a "related space" where my VAs can communicate with our clients without seeing payment history, etc. Theoretically you could have them send the contract through the related space (you can see both) but this could get a little time consuming.

4. If you have SmartFiles set up properly with SmartFields, they should be able to update with Service and deliverable details, payment schedule, etc all on its own, without the help of a VA doing it manually. Perhaps your business model is different, but as long as you outline everything clearly on the first services block and have the settings on properly, those details can all auto-populate in the contract automatically.

Let me know if you have questions! (Or if you need us to help!)

PS. Your bank account details, etc are in company settings and are encrypted. In order to change or view them I believe there's a 2 factor authentication that happens every time.
