Heyyyyy everyone. I’m LaToya, Automation Specialist hanging out in Barbados 🏝️. If you’re somewhere cold don’t hate 🤣.

I’ve been in business for the last 8 years and I also run a course for woman and moms to help them specialize and become a Tech Virtual Assistant.

I’m a Certified Online Business Manager and Certified Master Marketer who loves Zapier!

We’re FINALLY over here, do you think you’ll stay active in a community off of Facebook or do you think it’s hard to do?

I’m in Missouri and just finished shoveling snow. Can I come stay with you? 😂

I get a TON of notifications on Facebook because I’m a social media manager. I’m constantly bouncing between client profiles and it can be overwhelming. Part of me thinks I’ll use this more because it’s off Facebook and I have Honeybook open on my browser all day.

Hey LaToya!!! Great to see you on here!

I think it’s tricky when you’re not fully invested in the platform or community. For example, short-term challenges that are meant as part of a funnel into a higher ticket program, and you don’t continue. (I’m Audi 3000)

I also think it’s tricky if you have multiple coaches and platforms (or clients, etc) who use different communication tools, as it gives you one more place you need to check...

But when you’re committed and excited about the community, platform, and support… it’s easy to make the commitment to stay engaged. Great question!

I’ve been off Facebook for years now, so I didn’t even know we had a FB community. I can’t stand social media, which is ironic, because I handle content for the small business I work for - but I suppose I am a good candidate since we are trying to craft something unique and a bit against the grain. I am lucky that my boss is happy to POST, and I just get to CREATE. I’m aware how lucky I am :)

I’m jazzed to see this platform here, I think it’ll be helpful and I already am putting it to good use.

I personally got a lot of value from the facebook community and am super disappointed that is has been moved here. There are already so many things to keep track of to have yet another platform to keep an eye on. Facebook was a great way to get quick & diverse responses from users. I’ve posted here once looking for advice and haven’t received a single response well over a week later. I found this post only bc I was looking for others who might be feeling the same way, and this is 3 months old. I understand that it’s still early in the transition, but I do not see myself using this as much as I do a more diverse platform like FB. In all honesty, I see myself relying on the support team even more rather than the community.

I do find it harder to stay active in a community that’s off of Facebook, but if it’s one that I find value in (like this one!) I remember to check in, whereas on Facebook I would join groups for the sake of it and see if it interested me.
