Where are you located: Born & raised in Oklahoma! I’m still here. Would love to move someday!
My business: I own Via Sophia, a virtual bookkeeping firm. We just celebrated a year! I work with business owners nationwide to help them understand their numbers year-round, not just during tax season!
My ideal client? I work with business owners who are READY to understand their numbers, learn about tax deductions. I’m not the bookkeeper who categorizes your transactions and give you a monthly statement. I want to KNOW you, know your family, help you GROW. I am, after all, your most intimate hire! I work with quite a bit of photographers and LOVE that we can relate with using HB. So far, they have been my ideal client, but I’m open to other industries!
My business superpower: I have a degree in Psychology so my approach to bookkeeping isn’t similar to other bookkeepers. I want to help my clients grow as well as helping them budget & save during off season.
How I defined success in my business: I am HUGE on self-care. As a business owner, it’s hard to have work-life balance. We’re so used to working a corporate job and not having to worry about anything once you head home. As a business owner, you’re literally still worrying about your business as soon as you get home. I define success through work-life balance and boundaries.
If we don’t set boundaries and have a work-life balance, we’ll get burnt out easily.
Why did I join the HoneyBook Community? I used to follow the HoneyBook Facebook Group until it disappeared. I loved the community and collaboration. I honestly ghosted a lot of HB emails until I needed technical support and came across the HoneyBook Community.
So, here I am!
