Is the Profit & Loss Tab Staying? I Really Hope So!

Hey HoneyBook team and community,

I recently heard talk about the Profit & Loss tab possibly going away, and I just wanted to chime in and say how much I rely on this tool. It's been such a helpful way for me to check in on where I'm at financially throughout the year—at a glance, I can see how I'm doing, what’s coming in, what’s going out, and get a sense of the big picture. It’s simple, clear, and honestly saves me a ton of time.

I really hope this feature is sticking around or being replaced with something equally (or more) helpful. Just wanted to add my voice in case decisions are still being considered. Anyone else feel the same?

Thanks for all you do!

Hey @Jen Sawyer

Thanks for sharing this—I completely hear you. The Profit & Loss tab was such a helpful, at-a-glance snapshot, and I know a lot of folks found it valuable for quickly understanding their numbers without having to pull full reports elsewhere.

HoneyBook officially sunset the Profit & Loss tool on May 1, 2025, as they shift focus to other financial tools like HoneyBook Balance. While it’s no longer available, you can still track things through the Reports tab, and if you’re using HoneyBook Balance, you’ll see some upgraded expense and income tracking options there too. They’ve also improved QuickBooks integrations if that’s part of your setup.

I’d definitely recommend submitting this feedback under the Ideas tab if you haven’t already—it really does help the team gauge what features need to come back or evolve. You’re not alone in this!
