I need to migrate my questionaires to smart files so they are living documents. I use them for planning. Prior to smart files being a thing I moved all my planning qustionaires to a different platform for DJs. That has gotton pricy. How do I easily migrate back to honeybook for planning forms and make it easy on my clients. I also want these to be living documents that both I and the the client can update during the planning process.

Thanks for any help you all can provide.

@Thomas Hinds - Smart Files are a great place to house planning questionnaires, but there isn’t currently a way to make them true living documents that both you and the client can continue updating over time. Once a Smart File is submitted, it’s essentially locked on the client side.

One possible workaround is using the Notes section inside the project for ongoing planning details that evolve throughout the process. You could also have clients submit an initial planning Smart File and then keep updates and changes documented in notes as things progress.

It would be a great feature request though — especially for planning-heavy businesses like DJs. I’d definitely recommend submitting this idea in the Feature Request section so the HoneyBook team can see the need.
