Hey everyone, I am new to Honeybook and am unsure if I can use this to take payments at a market. Any advice on how to start would be greatly appreciated.

Hey @Karla Aun! Welcome to HoneyBook! You can use HoneyBook to take payments in person, but it’s not as quick as you may need for a market. It works a little differently than a traditional POS system. A couple of options:

  1. Invoices – You can create an invoice in HoneyBook and either send it to the customer to pay on their own device. HoneyBook does accept Apple Pay and Google Pay.

  2. Pay Links – HoneyBook has a feature called Pay Links where you can create a link for a set amount and just share it with your customer. This can be handy at markets since you don’t need a full project setup.

Just know that HoneyBook isn’t built like Square or Stripe POS, so it may take a little more tapping around, but it’s a great way to keep all payments centralized in your account.

If you’d love to see HoneyBook expand with a true POS-style feature, be sure to add it to the Ideas tab so the product team knows there’s demand!
