Hello HoneyBook Community,

I’m not sure if I’m the only business owner thinking about this but I feel like the Finance section of HoneyBook is lacking.

I’m unsure why they got rid of the profit/loss breakdown, isn’t that one of the sole metrics that we as business owners look at when determining how we are performing?

The reporting also doesn’t allow you to make one yourself, which is frustrating. And when you look at payments or expenses, it doesn’t allow you to see the total amount.

It also takes about a day to update the financial situation once a new client comes on and pays the deposit.

I like HoneyBook’s automation features, templates, and user-friendly approach, but I’d like to see more focus in the financial dept.

Thanks for all who listened!

Hey Ian, I’m Tal, a PM from the HoneyBook Finance team.
Thanks a lot for leaving your feedback, we’re genuinely happy to read it.

We are going to be replacing the P&L tool with a much better view of your business profitability very soon so stay tuned for that.

About the rest of your feedback, I’d love to hop on a call and learn more about your needs (will email you).

Thanks,
Tal
