Hi Honeybook Users!
Question in regards to invoices/Payments. When a client makes a payment of say $500, when its in my honeybook balance its only like $492. Does honeybook take a percentage for use of CC?
If so, How do I add the percentage to CC payments in my invoices?

Hi @Malayna Knox!

Yes, HoneyBook transaction fees apply to credit card processing, you can learn more about it here. If you’d like to pass on the fee to your clients on their invoice, you could do so by creating a new service item on the invoice stipulating that charge. However, in certain states it’s not legal to pass on the credit card processing fee on to your clients. On the other had, HoneyBook transaction fees are tax-deductible come tax time.

Is there a way to access all of our Honeybook transaction fees in one place?
