Do you recommend having a separate credit card even if you mark each transaction as a personal or business expense in quickbooks self employed?

Yes, I’d recommend keeping the business and personal finances separately, even when marking  transactions as personal vs. business. Especially as your business grows it may become a bit more complicated or even when you bring on support to tackle your books, they’ll need your help knowing if anything’s personal vs business, which may lead to unnecessary costs/resources.By separating your accounts you could also avoid raising red flags if you’re ever audited by the IRS.
