I am a photographer and provided a service as a donation worth a certain amount of money— is that a deduction?

+4Generally speaking, a deduction is not allowed for the value of charitable volunteer work, unreimbursed expenses directly connected to the services you provided may be deductible though, these could be things like supplies (props for a photoshoot) or gas/milage, parking tolls, etc.
