Not Receiving a Payment on a Recurring Invoice

My client has recurring payment scheduled on auto pay on the 1st of each month. Today I haven’t received the payment and I am wondering if the client can remove the card without notifying me of potentially the card to be expired?

Has this happened to anyone?

Hey @NatiG

Have you made any updates to a payment schedule or contract? If so, your client will need to accept these changes in order for auto-pay to continue. To check, navigate to the client’s invoice and if they haven’t accepted changes, there will be a little red dot next to the overdue payment with more information about what is going on :)

No, I didn’t make any changes to the contract. I contacted the client and she said she removed the card as it was compromised. However, I find it strange that the system would allow it, without to ask to replace the card or notify me.
