Hey guys, do you have to amend the proposal each time your client makes a payment?

Have you found a solution yet? Just in case, I have some thoughts!

 

You do not need to amend a HoneyBook proposal each time a client makes a scheduled payment. Once the client signs the proposal and the payment schedule is set, HoneyBook tracks payments automatically and marks them accordingly.

 

However, if the client wants to change services, pricing, or dates after signing, then you’d need to amend/edit or reissue the file.

 

Just to better understand what’s happening:


• Are your clients making partial payments that don’t match the scheduled payment amounts?
• Or are they requesting changes to services or pricing after signing, which require you to edit the proposal?
