Is it possible for invoices to have starting at price or range of pricing when invoicing clients?

Could you provide a bit more detail into how you’re requesting payment from your clients? Do they have a payment plan, are you adding to the invoice as your work with them continues? Or is this “starting at” invoice more of a quote/proposal and then you’d send them a final invoice once they’d solidified their package/price?

Starting at for quotes/proposals.

Awesome! Here are my suggestions:

1. If you are sending this out to people who are inquiring, I would recommend setting this up as more of a pricing/services guide where you can list out all your services/packages and have the starting at or price ranges and then let them know you’d give a more detailed quote after you speak with them or collect more info about their needs. Then when they are ready to book, you’d send an invoice that had the exact price you’re quoting them

2. You wouldn’t be able to list a price range on an invoice since it requires one specific number. However, depending on how you operate, you could send an invoice to collect a deposit (which would be that one specific number) and then in the description is where you could detail out that the service they are booking starts at X or list the range and that you’ll send the final balance at X time during their project

3. If you do hourly work, or if you offer add-ons, you could send them the invoice for whatever the minimum number of hours they are booking and then can always go back into the invoice as the project progresses and add additional hours or other add-ons. This would allow you to have that one specific number for the invoice while listing in the description that they have the option to add more hours/services

Again, all of these suggestions really depend on how you have your services structured and how you like to invoice clients, but hopefully this gives you some ideas on how you could set it all up.

Let me know if you have any questions!
