I just want to give the feedback that no expense area will be enough to make me move platforms to a CRM that does have one. That is the main attraction of HoneyBook for me.

Hi @Phoebe Rust thank you for your question and feedback about this. When we made the decision to sunset expenses as a standalone feature, it wasn’t made lightly. The previous Expense tracking feature was not performing at the level we aim for.

With the release of HoneyBook Finance, you’ll have access to tools that automatically categorize card spending expenses and track business finances in real-time. These benefits are all included at no additional cost, and we hope they (and future product enhancements) will bring even greater value than the standalone expense feature.

We truly appreciate your business and your trust in HoneyBook, and we love hearing feedback from our members. Your insights are invaluable to us, and the community team will continue representing your feedback to the team.

I agree, I do not like the fact that expenses were removed and I lost things that I have tracked in honeybook.

Agreed! I will be switching platforms as well! Terrible move, Honeybook!

Please don’t discontinue it! I’ll probably have to move if that happens. It’s a major part of why I chose HoneyBook.

@Kait M So this means that the’ll still be a way to track your expenses automatically in our same platform/price? Great! I am already doing that so it’ll simply keep going?

SAME. The expenses tab makes it so easy during tax season. I HATE the idea of having to leave HB for a new CRM, but this feature is a MUST HAVE 😭

But does it track expenses on projects? Including paying 1099 Contractors?
