As a user, I want to be able to use dates payment were made in automated input fields. This is so that I can use those dates as milestones for contracts and possibly other forms/emails.
Business Value: Many clients pay before due dates, so while you can choose the due date as an input field, or field source, if the client paid early, the contract became enforced on that early payment date. Therefore it is crucial to be able to choose said date for the contract, emails and potentially other forms.
Acceptance Criteria:
- I can see options for dates a specified payment was made in the Input Field/Insert Smart field dropdown.
- These options would be generated for each date a payment is made
- These options would show the payment details for that date
Examples:
Given I am drafting a contract or email
When I want to set a contract start date,
Then I should to be able to choose the date the retainer was paid from the field sources
Given I click on the email input field option or field source dropdown of a contract
When I scroll through options
Then I should see all dates on which a payment has been made
Given I choose a payment date from the dropdown
When I review the payment date
Then I should see what the payment was for, as set by my previously entered smart file: invoice or contract
