In the follow-up emails I send leads, I always include the link to the smart file they received, so they don’t need to dig through their email inbox to find it. I have saved these follow-up emails as email templates.
The only thing that stops me from using these emails in automations is that I see no way to have the system auto-populate the relevant smart file link, so I manually send them using the email templates.
It seems like there are two options:
- Send follow-up emails through automations without the smart file link, OR
- Send follow-up emails manually through email templates with the smart file link copied and pasted
Is this correct, or is there an existing feature that I’m missing?
