Archiving a Project with a Refund in Progress

I had to cancel a job and refund the client’s deposit.

Is it ok to archive the project while the refund is in progress or will that cancel the refund?

Also, once I archive it, is it taken out of all of my reports, etc.?

But will it disrupt the refund? Should I wait to archive the project until the refund is processed?
