This may have been asked and answered in the community already or discussed ad nauseum so please delete if it’s redundant.

I just published my first lead form, after using contact forms for many years. With the contact form, I am able to see all of the responses in the body of the automated email form submission -- it’s as simple as clicking to open the email. However with the lead form, I have to 1) open the email, 2) click the button, go to the project, 3) click on the file within the project, 4) and if I'm viewing on mobile, I have to click on the "responses" tab. That's 3-4 clicks to get the same information that I could easily view in the body of the automated email using the contact form. And I would continue using the contact form except HB is really pushing usage of the lead forms, including making automations 2.0 only compatible with lead forms. Also access to other functionalities, challenges, and awards require usage of the lead form. But the lead form thus far is only adding more steps and more friction to my processes, not less. Has anyone found a way to get the automated email to display the responses in the body of the email without having to go through all of these steps?

@Marie Coleman-Johns -  Thanks so much for bringing this up, and you're definitely not alone in noticing the extra steps involved with Lead Forms compared to the legacy contact form!

You're right that currently, responses from Lead Forms aren't displayed directly in the body of the automated email notification like they were with contact forms. Instead, you’re prompted to click through to view the full submission within the project. As you mentioned, this adds some friction—especially when you're on the go or want quick visibility from your inbox.

While there isn’t a built-in way yet to have the full Lead Form responses appear in the body of the email, I definitely recommend submitting this as a feature request in the Ideas section of the Community. You're clearly articulating a real need, and feedback like this is what helps shape future improvements.

Will do -- thank you; and thanks for validating my concern. Hopefully there’s strength in numbers here 😆

I have been hesitant to switch to leads and now even more. I hope this gets resolved soon. For now I’ll keep my contact form until I cant any longer.
