Beyond frustrated that I now have to use automations 2.0 and there is no migration from the origional. I have multiple long automations with up to 40 steps in the old system and found out today i can no longer use any of them in new projects. Rebuilding these is a huge project to unexpectedly have to rebuild while managing client work.and if I wanted to save time "hb pros" prices have tripled from 2 years ago.

Worse yet, I have a new inquiries today and have no workflow to drop them into.

Through reading thcommunity forums, it looks like alot of guide and files dont translate either. If I have to rebuild contracts and client guide and automations, im looking at weeks of work as a one man team right as my year is getting busy again.

This is devastating for my business operations, my client expirience, and my time. Ive praised honeybook for years but this is a huge L and im extremely disappointed.

@Michael Kessel -  I’m really sorry, this is incredibly frustrating, especially when you’re in a busy season and relying on long, complex workflows. You’re definitely not alone in feeling caught off guard by the lack of migration from Automations 1.0 to 2.0, and I completely understand how disruptive that is when you’ve invested so much time building those systems.

I’d strongly encourage you to reach out to HoneyBook Support directly using the ? icon in the bottom right corner so they’re aware of how this is impacting your business right now. They may be able to help with temporary workarounds, priority guidance, or at least make sure this feedback is clearly documented.

It would also be worth submitting this in the Feature Request / Feedback area if you haven’t already. Sharing the real operational impact, lost workflows, time, and client experience — helps give this more visibility internally or even just requesting a feature to help with the transition and build out of the new automation.

And while it’s definitely not ideal, if it’s within your budget, you could consider working with a HoneyBook Pro to help rebuild and transfer your workflows into Automations 2.0 more quickly. It won’t fix the underlying issue, but it could help speed things up and take some of the load off during a really busy time.

Your frustration is completely valid — this is a huge transition. 💛
