I'm looking for ways to get the most out of the platform, especially when it comes to using email for different niches in my business. One challenge I'm facing is organizing email templates within my workflows. Right now, it doesn’t seem possible to create subfolders for niche-specific emails, and there’s also no search feature to quickly find templates by keyword, which can be frustrating when trying to locate a specific email in my library.

Are there any updates planned for the marketing emails section in HB? I'd love to know if the team is working on solutions to make managing and accessing email templates easier.

Hi @Imagesbyjrodtx!

I WOULD LOVE THIS!! Especially when I have 70+ email templates. One way I’ve been able to do a little workaround is to label them by number & letter. For example, the inquiry process, I name them like

1A. Automatic Response [Weddings]

1A. Automatic Response [Elopements]

Then the booking process I would name them:

2A. Proposal Delivery [Weddings]

2B. Proposal Follow Up [#1]

2C. Proposal Follow Up [#2]

etc.

That way when I organize them alphabetically, they show up in order.

Depending on how your brain works, you could also organize them by:

[Weddings] 1A. Automatic Response

[Weddings] 1B. Available

[Weddings] 1C. Consultation Follow Up [#1]

[Elopements] 1A. Automatic Response

etc.

So they’re organized by service type AND in the process order.

HoneyBook relies on the Feature Request tab when making updates. There are MANY ideas and requests for this! But you can upvote the idea below so HoneyBook can see how many users really need this feature!

@Imagesbyjrodtx - I have a similar method as Kaitlyn’s - I label the emails that I use most often with (+) at the beginning so they stand out and can be found easily. I have also used emojis at the beginning of the email template name for different stages of my client process.

For Example I am a brand designer:

Inquiry Process: 🗓️
Brand Design: 🎨
Web Design: 🖥️

I have also had photographers use different emojis like: 💍, 👶 etc.

I’m not sure if this is helpful but I thought I would share!
