Did HB process the payment and the refund? You can’t ‘erase’ the record of the payment and refund if it was processed by HB. You’ll see both the payment and refund in your reports so it will equal out.

But, if you marked it as paid and processed the payment elsewhere, you can unmark it as paid and delete the file so it won’t show up anywhere on your reports.

Yes.  HB processed both the payment and refund.

What I am asking is, I do not want it to count as a booked job in the reports.

So I can have an accurate count of actual booked jobs.

Ahh, gotcha. Unfortunately you can’t remove refunded projects from your number of booked jobs.

But if you go to reports/download reports/payments completed, you’ll see the number of refunds you’ve issued. So you could at least have a running tally of refunded jobs to compare with your booked jobs.

This has actually helped me figure out my risk factor - what percentage of bookings end up getting cancelled or refunded? I do like to keep a running tally so I can see if there are some months where cancellations happen more often and plan for it in advance. For example, rainy months wreak havoc on my local service based business so I have to pay close attention to my booked vs. refunded numbers to make sure I’m still a certain percentage range.
