Clients having security issues with Honeybook

Wanted to post about this issue to see what others are doing! I have had several larger corporate clients this year be unable to access their client portals, scheduler, invoices, files, pretty much any links hosted via Honeybook due to intense security settings set in place by their company on their end. Honeybook is essentially marked as a “suspicious” site & I even had one client get fully locked out of her entire company cloud after clicking a Honeybook invoice link I had sent to her.

I feel badly that my clients are experiencing these security issues, but obviously there is not much I can do on my end. Has anyone else had this issue, and what online payment processors are you using instead of Honeybook that do not tend to get flagged as suspicious? Stripe, Square, QBO, or Paypal, maybe? Any ideas or advice would be appreciated!

@Miranda Kelton - Thanks so much for bringing this up, this is definitely something HoneyBook should be aware of. I’d highly recommend reaching out to the support team directly via the ? icon in the bottom right corner of your dashboard so they can look into this further and possibly escalate the issue.

I’m also going to tag a couple of HoneyBook team members here to help bring some visibility to it. @Monica R and @Kait M  - would you be able to help get the right person in touch?

This sounds like an issue that could definitely use some extra eyes. Hopefully we can get some clarity or solutions in place soon!

Hey @Miranda Kelton! I’m so sorry you and your clients have experienced this.

I am going to have our Support Team investigate and reach out to you for more details. Look out for an email from Concierge@HoneyBook.com!

@Alicia Bauer Hey Alicia, thanks so much for your input! I do have a custom company subdomain enabled & set up (projects.mirandakelton.com) & I am wondering if this may be part of the issue. @Monica R & @Kait M - is there another line or something I can add to my DNS to increase security for clients?
