I am a new recent user of this program after using Hubspot’s CRM for a while. There are several features that I believe need to be added to the system for this program to be fully usable for lead/client management.

  • There needs to be more capability for manually adding in previous records of phone calls and emails, especially for new users. While you can add in notes, it isn’t fully acknowledged as a contact point by the system.
  • There also needs to be the ability to manually add in record of phone calls to the system. Right now there is no capability to do so which I find to be a flaw. It is a basic client management feature to allow the recording of phone calls outside of ones booked through Honeybook. Again, notes can be used but it isn’t fully acknowledged as a contact point. (I.E. not included in the activity tab of the project)
  • I also believe one should manually be able to mark a project as booked outside of anything signed and paid through Honeybooks. This goes hand-in-hand with helping new users set-up their previous system within the program.

@Estefania Torres  -  Thanks so much for sharing your perspective — and welcome to HoneyBook! 🙌 It’s always helpful to hear feedback from new users who are coming from other platforms like HubSpot, especially when it comes to lead and contact management.

You make some great points. The ability to manually log phone calls and email records (outside of booked sessions) would definitely help round out the Activity tab and give a more complete view of client communication, especially for onboarding legacy clients into the system.

And yes, the ability to manually mark a project as “booked” without requiring a file to be signed or paid through HoneyBook would be a huge help when migrating from another CRM or tracking non-standard bookings.

I’d highly encourage you to share these as feature requests in the Ideas section of the Communitythey’re all thoughtful, real-world suggestions that could improve the platform’s flexibility. HoneyBook’s product team actively reviews that space, and the more upvotes an idea gets, the more likely it is to be considered for development.

Thanks again for taking the time to share this, we’re glad you’re here! 💛

Hello, I appreciate your response! I would love to add these ideas to that section, unfortunately it seems I do not have the access to this section.

@Estefania Torres  - Hmm that’s weird - maybe if you navigate to it via the What’s New tab > Vote on Feature Requests you will be able to get there. I wonder if it is because I shared the link. Just a thought...

I’ve tried through that link and continue getting a 403 not found page unfortunately.

@Estefania Torres - I am going to tag a couple of people to see if they can help you out with this! :) @Monica R or @Kait M - I am not sure who to tag to help, but she is not able to view and receives and error in the ideas section of the community. Is there a reason for this or how can we help her?
