Hello!

My name is Olivia and I am a photographer on the East Coast and HoneyBook has been an invaluable resource for my business. I love the service, but I wish they would reconsider their AI usage.

As many of us know, AI is terrible for the environment. It wastes water, puts excess strain on the electrical grid, and is leading to worsening climate conditions. I have asked HoneyBook on multiple occasions what the environmental impact of their AI usage is and they are not tracking this. The time that is saved by AI use does not correlate to its outsized impact on our planet.

I also know that many of us are creatives and AI is also a threat to our very livelihoods, especially with the government considering bans on AI restrictions. AI companies steal our work to train their AI. AI companies want fewer restrictions on copyright laws so they can use our work with impunity.

I have turned off all of the AI functions I am able to through the settings and I encourage everyone to take a few minutes and message HoneyBook and tell them what you think about AI use.

Thank you for your time in reading this, let me know what you think!
