Becca Haines

New Honeybook user. Have searched high and low, cannot find an answer to this.

Just created an inquiry form and like the idea of an automatic email confirmation being sent to the client. I do not like the default text in the one provided with the form. Am I able to edit this default email? If so, can you walk me through where to do so and how?

Here’s what I would do:

  1. go to your templates, and write your own confirmation email
  2. go to “automations” and create a new one
  3. select “send email,” attach your template, and set when you would like it to send
  4. make sure “require approval before sending” is not checked, so it will send automatically
  5. save your automation
  6. go back to the main automations screen, and attach it to your contact form

Hope that helps!

Hi @Becca Haines ! Here is the template that is preloaded into your Emails:

You have 2 options: 1. Edit this template or 2. Create a new automation like Sandra mentioned above.

If you’d like to edit this template (a little quicker than creating a new automation), you can:

Go to Tools > My Templates > Emails

Click on this email and edit the text. It will auto-save for you!

Hope this helps!
