Is there a way to make the tax setting a universal thing?  Meaning - my tax rate changed and I am having to manually change it on each invoice.  Are you able to make this a feature where I can change it in one spot and it changes it to all invoices? It is such a pain when you have so many invoices that need to be changed.  Thank you! :)

@Elaine Pierce  - Great question! As far as I understand, right now, HoneyBook doesn’t offer a way to update the tax rate across all existing invoices at once. Unfortunately, any tax applied on a per-invoice basis has to be manually updated.

I am going to tag @Geily Romero because I know she is more of an expert in this area and maybe she has some better insight than I do.

However, this would be a really helpful feature to streamline financial updates, so I’d highly recommend submitting it as a feature request in the Ideas section of the Community (or upvoting it if it’s already there). The more visibility and support a request gets, the more likely it is to be considered for future updates.

Thank you @Alicia Bauer

@Elaine Pierce are you using the QB/HB integration by any chance? If so, on your QB Dashboard within Honeybook, if you set up your sales tax rate (only 1 is supported) than that should be the one that comes up on every invoice moving forward. Alternatively, have you tried updating the sales tax on the templates and seeing if every time you’re using the template, the sales tax is fixed now?

Thank you!

If you do submit this as a feature request, please do share the link with us here so we can upvote! @Elaine Pierce I would love this feature as well and I know my clients would love to have it in their HoneyBook accounts too.
