more control over file sharing emails

I see this topic has been raised before as a question, but wanted to ensure it is represented as a feature request.

For a given project, with client participants A and B for same client org.  Client A is contract reviewer, Client B pays invoices.  Don’t mind that either of these individuals can view these contract and invoices files through the platform, just don’t need them to both get email when sending contract for review and signing.

Related workspaces is a clunky, incomplete solution for this, and introduces new challenges in this scenario.  If goal of platform is to streamline workflow and improve efficiency for business owners, simply let us choose who will receive email communication I these various file send/share scenarios.  In other words, change current behavior that forces all client participants to receive emails for each and every “file share” Engagement point.

Thanks,

Brian

Hey @Brian Wingate! You can now accomplish this when sending both emails and smart files :)

But you have to add these people as project participants (right?) which makes all files visible to them. Also, when multiple people are on an email, they don’t see who is copied which is so unprofessional.
