I am currently consulting with a company who brings in multiple clients that need my assistance as part of a package with theirs. Due to this , i track the projects separately as well as the time tracking within the projects.  This then generates separate invoices.  However I don't want to keep sending multiple invoices to this one company, is there a way to combine the invoices  ?

I saw a past post that said to just use one project to invoice.  I don’t think that will work for this situation since i need clear trackability for hours per each client to provide to my consulting company.  Is there another way?

Thank you,

Holly

@Holly Gallacher -  I’ve run into something similar, and unfortunately HoneyBook doesn’t have a way to combine invoices from multiple projects into one master invoice. Each project keeps its billing separate.

Using one project to invoice is really the only built-in workaround, but I totally get why that won’t work for you if you need clean, separate time tracking per client.

Your best option would be to:

• Track time inside each individual project
• Export or summarize those entries
• Then create one manual invoice in a separate project (or a standalone invoice)* for the consulting company that consolidates all the billable hours from that period.

It’s not fully automated, but it allows you to keep your internal tracking organized while still sending the company just one invoice.

This would be a great feature request, though, combining invoices or rolling up time entries across projects would help a lot of service-based businesses. I’d definitely submit or upvote it in the Feature Request section!
