New Notes Tab is not good !!!

I think the new notes tab is HORRIBLE!!!!  Please at least change the new notes tab to where you can scroll through notes as you were able to do previously. Now you can not see the entire note without clicking and opening every note. The information is now less accessible and very cumbersome and time consuming. We need to see the information in the notes easily -- otherwise what is the point of taking a note????  We use this extensively for planning events. Now it is basically ususable because you can not see the entirety of the note all at once without opening each. Absolutley miserable! Please change it back !!!!

Couldn’t agree more! Just had to search how to even find the notes section before a meeting. WTH

I agree with this post and would like to add to it:

  • if we share a note to make it visible with a client, they should get an automatic email notifying them that a note was shared with them (otherwise I need to email them this which is a totally unnecessary extra step)
  • if I share a note with a client - ALLOW THEM TO EDIT IT.
  • allow clients to start their own notes if they want - some clients want to use HB as the HUB for our work together and they want to take their own notes...

I collaborate with my clients and this platform doesn’t allow much collaboration - I was hopeful this would change when the notes tab came out but it’s just not good...

It would be nice to see the notes full screen. I also don’t like that just opening the note changes the date on the note.

I totally agree I wish I could choose the notes view. Also, I want to see note templates that I can use across projects.

I am adding another thought to this - I wish there was a way to sent the link to the specific notes

 

For example, I use the HB AI notetaker - and I get an email once the notes are ready.  But it’s an internal email, not ready to forward to the client as it has internal language in it.  I would love to be able to either forward that to the client so they can access their notes OR send them a direct link to that notes page.

I really really really want templates I can grab from in the notes tab. I want a drop down of my templates in the notes tab just like how there are email templates. 

 

It’s been 1 YEAR of copy and pasting meeting template notes into every single client. As an automation software theres not much automation available

@Teresa  - Thanks so much for sharing your feedback! You're definitely not alone, obviously there are several others mentioning similar frustrations with the new Notes tab layout.

I’d recommend submitting this as a feature request so the HoneyBook product team can see it directly. Once you do, be sure to drop the link back in this thread so others (myself included!) can upvote it and show their support. The more traction it gets, the more likely it is to be considered in future updates.

We all rely on Notes for quick access to project info, and being able to scroll through entries easily was such a helpful part of that experience. Fingers crossed we see improvements soon!
