I’m not a fan of the left menu sidebar but I know it’s not going to go back to the top like it was. My main issue is that I have to keep opening it to navigate or it pops up when I’m trying to click near it (search/message body area) and thus navigates me away from what I was trying to do. I’ve used the expand feature but it defaults back each time.

Please add an option to make the expand feature default or permanent so I don’t have to do that each time I access HB.

Hey @Jenna Deason

Hmm, when you select expand menu, it should permanently stay open. I just logged in to my own account and the menu was still defaulted to open - if this is not the experience you’re having, will you please send a screen recording of this happening to Concierge@HoneyBook.com and let them know about the issue?

@Monica R Mine is now staying open. It would stay open if I had additional HB tabs or opened a new window, but when the browser was closed out or the computer was rebooted it would reset to collapsed. I’m not sure what changed but obviously something did.

Edit to Add: I spoke too soon. I just went back to HB and the menu was closed. It seems to revert at a certain window width. Seems my browser window has to be at half my desktop width for the expand icon to appear and if make the window more narrow it removes the expand setting. I’ve done a screen recording of this and will send it to the email you provided.

Ohhh, great discovery, Jenna. So it collapses when the width in smaller, I assume because “it” thinks you want more screen room on your now more narrow screen - got it. Thanks so much for recording that and sending that to Support! That’s a good flag for our dev team to be aware of.

@Monica R - I tried sending the recording but it is too large of a file to email, even when compressed. I asked if there is another way to get it to them.
