Melodic Enterprises

Am I the only one annoyed at the fact that it has been almost a year since we have seen changes/ improvements. April of 2025 is the last time we saw an update on the new and improved. The same roadmap has been “planned” and “coming soon” for OVER A YEAR! We managed to add emoji’s to emails… but still cant send an invoice without a payment processor, we still can’t add discounts to specific items instead of to an entire invoice, we can’t use promo codes, we have no way to note/ offer cash or check payments but woo hoo we have emojis… the price definitely went up and we saw some changes AT FIRST but it has been far too long since we have gotten any new additions ESPECIALLY TO THE INVOICE OPTIONS.

@Melodic Enterprises - I hear and understand the frustration, especially when you’re waiting on very specific invoicing features that would make a big difference day to day.

That said, HoneyBook actually has rolled out a lot of updates over the past year — so many that it’s honestly hard to keep up. They’ve been sharing them regularly in their product updates blog, which might be worth a skim if you haven’t checked it recently. While those updates may not address every item on this exact list (especially around invoices), there has been ongoing development happening behind the scenes.

For gaps like discounts by line item, promo codes, alternative payment notes (cash/check), etc., the most impactful thing you can do is submit a Feature Request or upvote an existing one, like this one. The more people who rally behind specific requests, the higher priority they tend to become for the product team. I have a link to one you can upvote, and it’s really helpful when we do this as a community so it actually makes a difference.

Totally valid feedback — just wanted to share some context and a path forward that gives it the best chance of being addressed.

Do you know when a new update of developments will be made available to the community? It seems as though nothing has been released since early October. I also share the same thoughts as the original poster. A lot of these things are crucial to running our business and are not far fetched by any means as smaller management companies (that are priced much lower) are offering these core features. Id rather honey book prioritize these small fundamental features over those that are more niche or simply for an “aesthetic.”

@Eryn Geus - I am not privy to when updates and/or developments will be released. If you have requests that you find necessary I always suggest to submit a feature request. While I know they do read the community posts, it is better date for them to see a feature request and how many people are upvoting it and the interest it has in the community as a whole.
