Question

Random Client Files and Attachments

I send 2-3 documents to my client each week.  They complete them and drop them back in the portal.

The problem is:

  1. It is difficult to find the actual file you want without downloading it - only to find out it’s not the one you want and then you have to try another.
  2. There are so many files scattered in the workspace -

It would be great if there was a way to group these files into folders - then they could be labeled “Week 1”, “Week 2”, etc.

Anyone have any ideas that may help?

Hey @SHRC!

Totally hear you on this! When you're exchanging that many documents each week, things can get messy fast! Right now, HoneyBook doesn’t have a true folder system within a client’s project workspace. I think that’s a really smart feature request worth adding to the Ideas tab if you haven’t already! HoneyBook developers use this tab to make updates.

In the meantime, you could try renaming the files. Like Week 1 - Homework 1. Week 1 - Homework 2, etc. I know it’s not as streamlined as a folder, but it may help a bit.

Thanks for bringing it up! Let me know if you have any other questions!
