Hey fellow HoneyBookers! Question about the calendar feature: Is there a way to update global settings for all calendar types without diving into each one individually? 📆💡 Looking to streamline and save some time. Any insights or hacks would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, for sure! Thanks @Than P

I have several calendar types as I offer various grief coaching options and programs for clients. However when I want to change my availability on all types I have to go into each one individually. I’d love a global change feature for my schedule so that it updates all of the calendars linked to that global availability instead of treating each one individually. It makes it a pain when I need to take a day off or rearrange due to an emergency because it’s duplicating work on my end. Hope that helps explain the issue better. Thanks.

Ah yes, totally makes sense. Sounds like a lot of redundant work for you. Maybe you'd benefit from a “switch” to turn off calendars for a specific day, etc.

Not an option right now, but that’s exciting about the new ideas feature...head over here and put in a request!

Hey Danielle,

As of right now, I don’t believe there is a way to globally update calendar features. Can you give an example? I’m trying to picture what settings you would want to change for all - alerts? or colors? etc?

LMK!

Seconding what Than said. The only thing that you can do a bit globally would be on the scheduler page to scroll down to where it has your availability overview and change your availability without having to go into each session. But other than that, I don’t think there’s a way to make updates that will affect all your session types.

Thanks! @Than P Will do. Hopefully they will implement something like that so it can streamline the calendar bookings and adjustments to schedules. Much appreciated!

You can also go into the calendar and create a meeting and mark it as personal if you decide to take a day off here and there. That will make it to where none of your session types can book that day.

That is a fix but it requires lots of extra steps because you have to select the session type and etc. just to save it as an unbookable time. I would prefer there is a separate button to mark yourself unavailable. Unfortunately I can’t sync this calendar automatically with my work calendar because their outlook calendar settings prohibit it. So I spend a lot of time manually syncing my work and personal calendars with the Honeybook one.
