Hey Guys!   This may be long but 😬  I THINK i want to update and automate my sales process even more than it currently is.

Currently:

  • Client(s) book a tour via calendly (i prefer this because i can book multiple potential clients on one tour, or planning party).
  • Zapier- creates a project in honeybook and attaches my sales automation which triggers a how to book email along with a smart file to be sent that allows them to select a package and document their requested date.  Followed by a series of check in emails until they complete that smart file
  • Once smart file is complete I check if the date is available and then issue a proposal smart file with their invoice/contract to sign & put their date reservation fee.  Then I manually put them into my planning automation.

I’m currently updating my products and toying with them selecting a date, package, and then moving to a proposal smart file without me having to click send/approve.  Here’s my questions:

  • Do I need to use the scheduler to do that?   Or do I put a date selection question with the package selection smart file.
  • Do i or can i include a proposal (invoice/contract) in the same smart file they select their packages)
  • My out loud thought on this note is that i may want to trigger my planning automation upon completion of a proposal smart file still to trigger the planning automation and that I may still want to be hands on this part so I don’t know if i really want the proposal part within the date/package selection.

My main goal would love for clients to be able to select a date without having to go back and forth with me and/or my website.

I’m pretty savvy with honeybook and am very comfortable with it.  I have not really tapped into the scheduler but I do see a benefit of it and would like to start integrating it into my process in all ways possible.   I do plan on transistion my planning process consultations.  Those are one client per.

If you want them to physically choose a date, then yes, you need to use a scheduler.

you can include an invoice/contract after they select if you’d like.

both of those options you’re considering is possible :)
