That’s a great question! From what I understand, you’re looking for a way for your clients to access their client portal using a link on your website, correct?

What you could do to simplify this flow is simply share the general link to the client portal - where your clients will be able to fill out their login information or trigger a password reset with their email. Does that help solve your issue?

As for merging projects, at this time it’s not possible to do. However, there’s the client workspace functionality that helps keeping everything in one place, giving you an overview of all of the projects that you’ve worked on with your clients.

I have had this happen twice this month. There was a lot of back and forth sending information (me to the client and them back to me). I sent them a booking link. In the end they went back to my website and used my booking form which start a whole new project for them. Is there a way that HB can know this client already exists in my system (name recognition) and import that contact form their current project? Now they have paid in one project and all the information I want to have in that project is in muliple emails in their other project.

​@Alicia Putz , I’m assuming the booking form on your website is a lead form? If so, there’s a setting for lead forms that may help you with this. Open up your lead form settings and scroll down to the “Submission Settings” section. There should be a setting called “Incoming leads project creation” and a toggle button. If you toggle it on it will save any other submissions they make on that form under the same project as long as they use the same email.
