I already have automations set up but went to go look at them and make some adjustments and saw this automation 2.0 that is new.

I am a simple girl would making the switch be better?

Simply put, Automations 2.0 has way more triggers (the thing that kickstarts the automation) and you can have multiple automations happen at the same time. This means you can target parts of your workflow that happen way beyond the inquiry. Note: there are still features to be added to 2.0 to make it truly everything we need, but as it is, there’s a lot to gain from the switch!

@Shannonboydphoto -  Great question! 💡

If your current automations are working well for you and your process is pretty straightforward, you don’t have to switch right away. Automation 2.0 does offer more customization and flexibility, especially with things like conditional logic (if this, then that), but it also has a bit more of a learning curve.

If you're a "simple girl" and your current setup is doing the job—stick with it for now! But if you're ever looking to fine-tune your process or automate a few more steps, it might be worth testing one out to see if you like it.

I completely agree with what @Alicia Bauer said! While there is a lot more the new builder can do, it comes with a whole new way of thinking about how your processes actually need to be set up to work inside the new builder. And since they are constantly updating and adding new things to the new builder, you may find yourself tweaking things way more than necessary in the beginning.

But, if you have any spare time, definitely play around in the new builder and see if you can understand how it works and start transferring what you have in the old builder over. You don’t have to active anything if you aren’t ready. But at least you can see how you’re feeling about it.
