HoneyBook Time-Saving Tips for Independent Businesses

Honestly, the biggest time-saving shift for me this year was streamlining everything through Smart Files. Once I set up consistent templates for my proposals, questionnaires, and welcome packets, it cut out so much back-and-forth and made my whole client experience feel smoother.

I’m also leaning heavily on automations for the little things—sending follow-ups, confirming bookings, and kicking off onboarding steps—so nothing falls through the cracks. It’s been a total game-changer for keeping my workflow organized and saving me a ton of time! 💛

Automations for everything.   People worry about removing the “personal touch” but the fact of the matter is, i can’t personally touch every communication that feeds through to me….there is no time to do that.  If you have time to do that more power to you but you are likely leaving money on the table if you aren’t automating the repeat parts of your business world.  If it’s apart of my sales process-automation,  planning cycle- automation, if it’s question asked often- automation, if it’s something that needs to be done no matter my thought or effort- automation.  

Setting up automations can be tedious but once they are put into play...instant set it & forget it in most cases. The automations will set my task for me, send emails, files, and keep the conversation going.   The personal touch- my response/replies to communication back to me.   Everything else is written in my tone so it feels personal enough.   Time saved instantly...now if only i could save time in other factors of my world….🤔
