Not sure if this has been anyone else’s experience or just mine. I’ve been a HoneyBook user for my business for the last 5 years and I have to say thus far, it’s been pretty great. Streamlined and organized, and this is my first post for a reason. But the new update/AI integration with Services on the Smart Files/Invoices has been a nightmare thus far.
I work as an event decorator but a lot of the stuff we do while customized, is of a similar category so it is usually pretty helpful to be able to type “Entry Sign” when creating a new item on the invoice and see all previous kinds of entry signs I’ve created for other clients, how I described them, and how I priced them and just choose from there. Same with “Rentals” or “Candles” for example.
But when the new update came in, I went in and made sure to migrate everything as the little banners prompted me to do, but still when I search things up, I know so many things are missing from the years I’ve been creating line items. More importantly nowadays, I type in “Rentals” and can’t see anything but entries for “Delivery and Pickup” which drives me insane since there isn’t even anything in the descriptions with that phrase and I can’t find what I’m looking for.
It has made the process of pricing so much more difficult and I wish I could opt out of this update and go back to the way things were.
